April Vacation

Monday was wonderful. We went to pan for gold, dig for fossils, and mine for gemstones with our godson...all in one convenient location! Then, we hiked through the woods, looking for dinosaurs and monitoring the local volcano. I've got to say, I would have loved this place when I was in my dinosaur phase.

Today was a couch-potato day.

Aren't you all glad I have a day job? I've spent five days on vacation, and I've got nothin'.

Oh how I wish I could have taken you to such a place in your dino days! Do you remember when we were tourists in Boston and we went to the Children's Museum? You saw a big pile of bones and you started trying to assemble them. After trying for a while you looked at the diagram which was of a sheep. "Oh, not a dinosaur!" you said. And walked off to the next exhibit.
You and two boys at Child Grove were going to grow up to be dinosaur scientist. You planned to study dinosaurs and drink coffee!

Well...as far as plans for adulthood go, that's not so bad! And, hey, I'm half-way there: go team coffee!

And sheep?! Pah!

so I guess I can't comment on twitter... Real BBQ?
I would send a donation to polar bears if I could get real BBQ north of a the mason-dixon line.

Hmmmm....maybe I used the term "real" a bit liberally. It was tasty, but it was no NC BBQ!
