Ah, for the clearance rack.
For fifteen dollar pants.
For the twelve dollar sweater.
I tell myself I have an eye for classic style.
But really, I just shop for last season's clothes.
This winter I went to an after-closing-hours catered event at a poshy-posh department store with a friend. There where hors d'oeuvres. There were people with champagne and pomegranate martinis. There were artists there to personalize the children's Uggs.
It was bizarre.
Things. Deeply discounted things. Things cost lots of money.
I bought a $35.00 headband.
So, today I went shopping elsewhere.
Yippee!

I raised you right!!
There is something about discounts and even second hand. Maybe I'll go shopping later today!!
Speaking of shopping (which we actually weren't, I was reading of shopping and you were writing of shopping), I'm mailing you something which may give you an opportunity to shop, or at least use an underused earlier purchase. Oh, I love a long sentence. BA, I'm also sending you something (the same thing) but I couldn't force it to have any relevance to your blog. And, I define relevance very leniently.
